I wanted to post this sequence as it included both methods that I use . 1st trade was a short from the horiz-line (NY open ). Exit on the trend line . 2nd trade entered on a 123 break , exit on the horiz-line . 3rd trade was another 123 short which broke right at the line also ..it was also a z-line, dragon line, rat reverse, dojo box, partridge in a pear tree...lol. It was hard to miss. I felt pretty good about it so I added @ the hook . Point is ..the horiz-line is a strong magnet and good things happen around it ... :smt023

Chappy, thx for this image showing both methods. You have won me over with the recent BZ trading. Quick is the word, though. I am trying to get up to 'speed.' I think previously I had been willing to absorb too large SLs on scalping, but the fast close out makes all the difference.

I was curious whether your insignificant losses did include your spread? If yes, then you are really quick on the close and evidently don't get beat up with much slippage on a fast manual close out. I notice I am losing 1+ on my closes from my visual click to close.

This seems to really suit my personality and time. It is often a case of taking a couple of smaller losses waiting for the more substantial move as you have documented. Take what you can get.

Thanks, C
