It was a trade based on the 15 min chart. Price closed above the previous hourly momentum. entry was at close of candle.
We had 1hr momentum about 9 hours ago from entry.

I don't understand the significance of breaching the candle 9 hours ago/

Regardless. I've been trading like this for months. h1 zline, rat m15. Its the only way I understand price action.

I find that I'm late into the trade if I wait for 'my understanding of the rb'. I might be missing something here.

RB holding currently as price is hitting 50% of h1 momo. Watching for m15 fails.

Anyways, thanks for the updates.

I trade what I see, not what I think, if I start thinking then I wont be long till im overthinking. I have sat staring at the screen many hours between Asian and London sessions to watch garbage. No volitility. The hourly momentum holds true in my mind as long as the colorchange doesnt break. Trading Rb's one way will get you in late. Trading them another will get you awesome entries. Its a matter of trading what you see. Many examples of different ways to trade the RB's. Momentum was behind me, my RB broke, went long, thats it.

Thanks for the insights.

GU Trade.

h4 zline. no h1 confirmation. Just price closing over the green RB.

TP at zline above, as I fully expected for price to retrace from there.

Questions:

Doji, would you have made this trade? Buying into an H1 down momo.

My prediction were correct. Price has now retraced back down from my tp price.

Next chart...

2 rb's.

Price reacts at 50% momo, straight thru the lower rb.

I now expect price to at some point, tank.

Am I right? Do we still have a downward bias, bc of the huge momo 6hrs back? Or can we expect price to consume the momo and tp at the top of the fib?

I'm a scalper, and I'm only trading to be assured of making some pips, not the entire run.

The only way I can seem to understand this rb method is to break the chart into zline segments. What happens at these zlines will determine whether to tp, or stack. Which brings us back to just using zlines. tf, I'm not using these rb effectively to achieve taking the run.

Hi Guys,

It has been a while since my last post, but the great work Doji and everyone has been doing on here has inspired me to post again.

I am still trading, although still very hit and miss.

Caught a couple of trades today and thought I would share.

1st trade was a long off a M15 zline, closed when it could not close above first target line +12

2nd trade rejection from H1 momentum, closed when it could not close above my second target line +20
