I think my problem is a lack of discipline. This thread should help me to get my gambling attitude fixed

Thanks to all the great helpers like es/pip, mo, dragon and dojirock. Let's see if I'm able to kill the markets like you guys do!!

A big problem is that I'm working from LO Open to LO close...I trade sometimes at work but my lack of focus results in bad trades. I focus H1 and H4 now and only EU. Rock'n'roll!!

1. H1-Zline. Was ok, but closed it too late.
2. Entry below the lows on the left. But I was unsure how far it would go.
3. Stopped out exactly at the high. My stop just was stupid.
4. Good entry but I got out too early.

You will make it all work for you if you just stick with it.

You will just see s**t that you didn't see before and it will all start clicking.

I will follow along and make comments on your charts, this may be on the weekends though.

you know those comments you made 1-4?

are you doing anything about them to resolve them, so don't make same mistake again?.

Those comments are pure gold i can see all problems you are making from them.You can correct them by asking "why" question to each of them and resolving it.

you hit nail on the head with this comment "I think my problem is a lack of discipline" . I would change that to "My problem is a lack of discipline"

all joking aside that is where you want to look, at your own comments and ask yourself how you can resolve them issues.

These are my trades from today.
TOTAL: +14

1. Looks good
2. The idea was a short to the yellow line. But after the stops were taken out and price came back I was afraid.
3. Stops below the low were taken out, I was expecting to a fake breakout to the north before heading south. I was too late in the trade.
4. z-line entry, exit at extremes. tis could have been a runner. coulda woulda shoulda :-/
5. I don't know why I refused to exit the trade earlier. M5 gave signs to exit.
6. I was expecting a drop much further. But after price came back with hh's I was afraid.
7. Basically the same idea as my last trade. Long at M5-Support.
8. Entry after everybody was out. Exit at BO-area.

When I look at the picture I see that sometimes I'm holding M5-trades for a lot of waves. And I exit some trades too early which could have been runners.

Some trades are late because I'm at work. This might be a big problem. I'll analyze that issue next week.

Third day, I didn't have a lot of time for live trading.



1. R from htf but ended as a loser. Could I have get an exit earlier? :-/
2. Entry at R bec S, exit at R
3. Current trade, I will have to see... UPDATE: +10

TOTAL: +24

edit: No 3 ended as +10 and it looks like I should never use targets again

Looks like your coming along good, considering your not doing it full time.
I caught the same drop, at work and just happened to be at the computer when i exited!

doji, great to see you!! well, the pictures look good but i lost the whole november... i lost nearly every day and had no solution. the last three days were ok, nice swings. if i would trade full-time i would have taken some more trades.

but i have to focus on the ranging days because they were killers for my account. i really have to see and to analyze in the next week how i trade the ranging-sessions. but november was super-ugly...at least for me....

One trade yesterday for me.
I got stopped out atthe wicks in the blue box. But my idea would have worked :-/
