Same to you B.

Taking runs off daily++ extremes is what MO said to do at some stage. Post some charts, get some banter going, maybe MO will contribute.
Is price closing higher or lower than something? Simple yet powerful question. ..MO

Kreslik Banter = Best Banter!

Anyway.. space! the final.. omg.. anyway so after some reading and a few good trades after Xmas i had to give this a go.. i mean the whole decreasing lot thing is just *censored - swear word* nice :) and ofc i think i finally found a way i can add in peace..
I did not get all this done the way its shown on the chart.. i made mistakes with the math etc so boxes in pic 1 are off a bit in size.. any comments on my math and understanding of space would be much appriciated
I ran out of lots.. but looking at EU right now u can see where this could have went

Passive: reduce space by 10-20%

Fibonacci: 3/5/8/13/21 or 6/10/16/26/42 and reduce in the same way.

Kamikazi: set a 60, 50, followed by 40 ret. If not at max buying power you are within one 50 ret of max.

If you have 3 lots at 113 pips & add 1 lot at 146 pips then you have 4 lots & 109 pips from the transaction price: (3/4) * 146.
If you add 5 lots at 190: (4/9) * 190 = 9 lots and ~85 space.

If your initial lot size over x space equals 5% then your risk is 5% no matter how many times you resize the box.

To keep things easy I calculate my risk at say $0.10/pip. If my lot size is 5 and a pip is really worth $0.12 then (10/12) * 5 = 4 lots.

$1,000 account, 5 lots & 100 space equals $50 ($0.10/pip per lot)
Real pip size is $0.12: ($0.12 * 4) * 100 = $48.

Anything over the balance to be doubled is used as lot size & space.

About same time I did, and all my friggin accounts are still at the same balance!! Knowledge gained without wisdom has only gotten me 3 yrs closer to death.
Funny thing though, life is still good. And as you have said, as long as I dont think it can get better Ill never again be depressed. Hell, too busy to get depressed anyway. :)

As always i thank u for sticking me some help MO :)

So a few things are not clicking for me.. ive seen u use the ret on your boxes in pictures.. but what are u doing at the ret lines? (i really would like to ask an intelligent question on this subject so i will be going back over your posts)

Another thing is why am i dividing 4 by 9 or 3 by 4 ? (again would love to be able to phrase this better but alas.. I will be striving to better myself at math over the coming months)

yeah i came shortly after u guys and its been a hell of a rollercoaster ride.. in all ways.. especially in the emotional sector :P

Ok so i see that this obviously makes the boxes alot smaller then what i was doing thus buffing the shield more :)

"Your position is always the 100% RET."

"6/4 for more space, price holds and stands poised to cancel out some momo, 4/7 setting a 57 Ret, there is a quick burst,
7/5 adding 40% space, or maybe 7/0/5 = liquidate and return later with 5 lots and 40% more space."

So here your going from 4 lots to 7 setting ur box at 57% of initial size? so am i to understand that i wont be adding to the initial pip box size,
i will be sizing it up and down between the original 100% compared to how much space i feel is needed at the time and when i manage space the box will be set from that new position?

ok so what a load of rubbish ive been asking anyway.. as always i should just keep reading before i speak my mind...

"Maximum risk is 38 * 0.09 or 3.4%" where does the 0.09 come from?

Ok

Account size 200$
risk 3.4% = 6,8$
Lot size = 0.3
Space = 67,8
Box = 22.6

Gain 11 pips boosting me to 100,8 space
now i 3/4 and my space is now 75,6
Box then being sqweezed down to 18,9

Sudden burst 40 pips gained boosting me to 115 space
now i 4/2 and get 230 space and a 115 box.

Still look at "setting a ret" .. hmm :P
