I have become overwelmed with ideas relating to space. Since I dont have a big enough account for the minimums suggested... basing it on lot ratios.

I managed to make a bad trade into a profitable one. Using the best I can explain a ratio senerio.

Entered short at 1.0060 with .01 of the .05 available per my risk pecent.
Realized I was on the wrong side of the trade, but had a target on the up side of 1.0200 and a return to original entry area. At 1.0202 added .02 to my position moving the average to 1.0154 and have .02 still to move with.
Closed .02 at 1.013 and added .03 at the return to 1.0154 leaving .01 to move with.

Closing .04 at 1.0109 leaving .01 open. added .03 at 1.0109 leaving .01 to move with. Then closing all position at the 1.0060 return.

I have now idea how to calculate a formula for this...its a max lot size available...with a small entry and add to it... I sense i could get into trouble at some point if price moves to far from my initial entry or I add positions too soon, running out of space.

I do know a loser trade turned into a 8 percent positive trade.

due to my exits, i know if I reversed the trade with a small loss I would not have held out for that big of a gain.
So im left feeling maybe this is ok but not until my account is bigger, due to the fact I could very well run out of money before I can gain enough space?

please feel free to make comments.... I may be way off base, if so....let me know..i will try again!

Belkin,

Do you know what Mo is showing here?

I do not, after 4 hrs of staring at his chart, I cannot determine anything....
Mind is blank....
The groupings even seems to change from open to closes, to closes to lows or highs and opens to lows or highs?

Overthinking.....?

i cant even get my cc to match.... :?:

THis is what i see

Image

When one candle closes over the previous showing someking of Momo you can enter on the next

Also you have one more shift of CCs to view PA..

Combining this with space..

You can trade this candles. and with the gained Space (Pips or $$$) you can trade bigger lots on the next trades for the same risk and the initial trade..

Also if you loose a trade you can size your space so you can keep trading without exceding your max risk

This was stated by MO somewhere in the forum using TRO's rat trade idea
