The past 3 weeks I've been making some nice progress in collecting pips. I was trading less and making consistent profits. However this week I can feel some regression into old trading pattern and being a nervous wreck when placing a trade, hesitating etc..
During those 3 weeks I was training like a mad man. All my lifts were PB's that final week. I was also taking a supplement called Jacked http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/usp/jacked.html
I felt quite humbled and centered after taking this supplement, and as I would train with fantastic intensity and focus, come home eat and then watch the London opening I would place my 1 trade, make my 20 - 50 pips and be done for the day.
I guess the stimulants made my mind sharp and I didn't overthink etc.
So my question is how can I possibly achieve that mental state naturally before I start trading?
OR
Does anyone have any before trading rituals that helps them trade better?
Cheers
Nick

For me, I've been training myself to get into a zone before I look at a chart, and seems to be working since I haven't been losing or hesitating recently, hard to explain it but it's something like a zone where professional athletes create before competing.

WAS A YALE STUDENT. Now? Let's see!
Why would I promote something then ask to get the same results without it. Think next time Spa. I put the link up so you can see the ingredients.
Thanks pablo watching now.
Starting tomorow I'll probably read 10 pages of a trading psychology book before trading and see how I feel.
I'm a bit sick lately so that also could be affecting me emotionally.

Very important topic. I on my part, do 15 minutes of meditation, before getting down to trading. This helps to calm my mind and get my focus back on track. It also helps me keep a check on the stress and uncertainties; two things that are an integral part of trading. I have also benefited a lot by reading Mark Douglas' "Trading in the Zone". Great book, with lots of valuable information. I think everyone should read it.
Happy trading to all
