what happens when expectation from everybody are in the same direction? I think: Chances are higher that market EU will move down...

scratty, on ff there is an explanation about that event. they write that the questions from reporters move the markets because trichet has to speak without manuscript.

i think it is a lottery and nobody knows what he says but you can watch the stream and try to be quick in understanding and interpreting. i would stay with MOs opinion that we don't need to watch news. so if markets want to go up they will although trichet might present bad news.
