No reason at all.
Guess I just punched them in off the top of my head.
But they are INPUTS, so you can "fix" them!!
That's why I "soft code" just about everything - so the user can "tweak" the indicators to their liking.

Shifting S/R levels in TRO DynamicFibsSR2
Avery,
The attached screenshot demonstrates what I was asking in the Paltalk room today. The 14:09 candle had a large shift in dynamic Resistance.
I set the TradeZoneTime to 14:09 so I could see the next penetration of the zone. It occurred within 2 minutes of the shift. (5 ticks on ER2 - Only using 1-min candles to see how quickly it occurs.) Even if I wait for the bar to close or set to the next candle (14:10) there is a dramatic move through the trade zone. Obviously, some trades would be filtered out. (i.e. The long trade was bouncing off the 23% fib as resistance so that wouldn't be taken, etc.) Others may be in a tight trading range and not produce anything.
If I understood right, you mentioned something in the room about running some other statistics (didn't know if you finished your discussion on this).
Any other insights are appreciated.
Thanks,
Kirk

Hard to know how to answer since the price is not displayed!!
But remember, this is trading. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.
14:00 on your chart is 16:00 NY time... then not much going on until shorts cover near 5PM NY time.

Avery,
duh, sorry about the no-prices chart!
this is 14:09 EST
I was mainly curious if you normally see large moves after large adjustment of the dynamic S/R dots... or at least quick moves through the buyzone if it's reset at these occurrences throughout the day.
thanks,
kz

zeller4,
Hard to say for sure, however, quite periods (tight S/R) are typically followed by higher volatility (wider S/R).

Eudaimonia (pron.: you-die-moan-e-a) (Greek: εὐδαιμονία) is a classical Greek word commonly translated as 'happiness'. The less subjective "human flourishing" is often preferred as a translation.
