If we leave our fears behind, we all be so much better traders;If we let our intuition works for us, we all be profitable.
Intuition can be developed by practice and experience; after years of trading, our subconcious mind can detect trading opportunities accurately. But fear stop us.

I think eudamonia is talking about fear of trading the strategy that only exist on paper at first.

Whenever I use my intuition instead of following my strategy rules, I enter too fast and exit too soon.

Fear causes you to block out the information the market is giving you, and forces your focus on the single event you are fearful of. Then, when you are out of your "feared state of mind", you will look back and interpret market information and say "Why I didn't think of that then" or "DAMNIT, THERE WAS MY SIGNAL TO GET OUT!".

Once you learn to accept the risk involved in each trade and aren't afraid of that risk, the market can do NOTHING AT ALL to cause you to be fearful.

Hello and thanks I really appreciated reading this yesterday! Learning when to hold on and when to get out is proving quite challenging, seems being brave (and not foolish) has got a lot to do with it
