Thanks for these oldies gfg1

CC closed over

a) Price goes back to the point where it closed over.
b) Price didn't go back and keeps going.
c) Price went back to the point where the price closed over before (a) and goes furthermore to close over (reversal).

Of course it's not the best explanation but It's how I see it.

Position Manager

Postby tmanbone » Wed Oct 06, 2010 8:17 pm

Found a toy. Here are the notes.

MetaTrader 4 doesn't consolidate multiple positions, so I found an indicator to do this a while ago. Thought I'd share it now.You might find it useful, especially if you employ scale-in/scale-out or pyramid techniques, or run multiple strategies in parallel in the same account and want to keep an eye on your total exposure.
Over toward the top-left corner there's a line of text showing information about consolidated long and short positions:
1. Average price
2. Total position size
3. Open profit/loss for the total position
4. Profit/loss if all stops are hit - this is your maximum account exposure, how much you actually have at risk

You must set stop losses on all the positions if you want to see an exposure/risk value that makes sense.
