Nice drawings.

I see it as follows. It is part of my trading plan. If it closes below the lower line (or upper line in case of a short), the zone is invalidated.

The price is the knife, the s/l is under the table. The upper (lower) line is the limit entry to catch the knife. In case of doubt use a stop order to catch the knife when it bounces back. Only catch knifes if you have checked that there a) is a solid table underneath, b) the knife isn't a sledgehammer   , c) the R/R fits your requirements. It is not a problem if a knife sticks its ugly head through the table, you have your s/l in case it turned out to be a sledgehammer. Closed candles are the truth.

And then this about Psychology; something to ponder on Easter.

From Tao Te Ching, chapter 71.

To know when one does not know is best.
To think one knows when one does not know is a dire disease.
Only he who recognizes this disease as a disease
Can cure himself of the disease.
The Sage's way of curing disease
Also consists in making people recognize their diseases as diseases and thus ceasing to be diseased.

Gouge Away
You can Gouge Away
Stay all Day
If You want to.....
Missy aggrivation
some sacred questions
you stroke my locks
some marijuana
if youve got some
Gouge Away
You can Gouge Away
Stay all Day
If You want to.....
sleeping on your belly
you break my arms
you spoon my eyes
been rubbing a bad charm
with holy fingers
Gouge Away
You can Gouge Away
Stay all Day
If You want to.....
chained to the pillars
a three days party
I'll break down the walls
and kill us all
with holy fingers
Gouge Away
You can Gouge Away
Stay all Day
If You want to.....

Ahhh.... a reminder not to get cocky :)

Aliassmith,
Will there be more to your "cheat sheet", or just those two examples?
Thank You very much for them, simple, but helps solidify the concept. ](*,)

Should send that to all the jerks who ban and argue with TRO on the other forums.
That's why I love Kreslik so much, everyone here is searching for truth for truth's sake (and are willing TO SEE), not people on ego trips who just want to be "right." :smt014

Really that is all there is to zlines.

1. You see a zline like my picture on a large timeframe
2. Then you look for a zline on a smaller timeframe in the area I have
marked support to make an entry for the larger one.

**Your lot size/risk should be based on the smaller timeframe.
**Your profit target should be based on the larger timeframe.

Some people make zlines so complicated when they are simple. It is the
mental side of the process that can "get you".

EDIT: What I have shown is basic and is meant to be a starting point.
Study the charts with that in mind for they are the best teacher. The area
I marked support could be higher, but never higher than 50% of the Momo
candle. It is based on the candles to the left of the Momo candle.

Letting that greed monster slip in my head and sway my decisions. Need
to watch out for the "crazy thoughts" and stay in the game mentally. :?

Here is a little better picture lesson on how to use the zline within a zline.

Thought I was a long term trader for a little while today. I then
remembered I wasn't and I am a short term trader. Took a profit, but
wasted too much time.

22 pips today

lesson today is remember what kind of trader I am.
