Hey TRO - I've been reading through this thread, as well as a few others, trying to get a good grasp of the rat trades. In the last image you've shown, does your red entry line signify a rat reversal?

It is a RED RAT REVERSAL TRIGGER.

However, RED RATS should enter in the RED RAT ZONE, not the GREEN RAT ZONE.

I am a cheese trader!

Postby scheeco » Fri Mar 05, 2010 10:19 am

Ok , I feel like I am a cheese trader, you know..I offer the cheese the rats seem to be eating.
Either I am not getting IT because I am seriously giving away pips - I feel like a cheese charity!

Sample trade:
My conditions for entry:
Check H1 bias
Check D1 bias
If both the same (green)
Look for a RAT
Redcandle closes.
Green candle closes.
I open at the high of the Green candle: 1.35988

But it does not take long and then I give my cheese away:

Are my indicators wrong?>
Am I undersating this wrong.
Any suggestions?
I am trading with MBT using the MT4 platform

Scheeco I think you have too many indicators.

I use the candle colour multi-meter
D1 Range Guage
TRO_Opens to plot the D1,W1 and H1 opens on the chart
The TRO Rat_Plot which shows you the entry prices (I think this one is donational)
support and resistance barry TRO_Modified (I don't think thats the exact name but Im not at my trading pc right now so I cant remember)

The other indicators just crowd the screen. Just my 2 cents.

I trade with H1 and W1 and if price reaches the previous support or resistance level.

I will post a chart soon

Hi chaps,
thanks for your input.
Pro Trader:
I will remove indicators and use the ones you mentioned - I have the donational ones and see if less clutter means more cheese.

cwn616 :I went long as the bias for H1 and D1 was long.
Green candle closed a after a red candle singaling a RAT reversal.

Postby Pro Trader » Fri Mar 05, 2010 2:56 pm

I hope you find the screen shot useful.

Theres is another setup at around 01:15am on the chart (06:15 GMT ) too though I didn't highlight it.

Check EURUSD with this template and there were many more setups like this today.

Happy Trading
