Hi TRO and other members,
I have been looking at this strategy and it seems to perform well when backtested using Tradestation. I have found that it looks good on goog, shld, aapl, and some futures like CL I think I found it could has almost a 100% win rate over a 100 day period on CL. I was wondering what "cows" other people are having success "milking". Also, I was thinking about using this as an automated strategy because it seems like I might not be quick enough to execute it by hand. Has anyone tried using this as an automated strategy in TS and what were the positives and negatives of doing this? I was also wondering at what point you close out the position if it does not hit the profit target. I was thinking that it world probably make sense to close out if it didn't work in the first 10 minutes. What are other people's thoughts?
Thanks,
Mike

I wrote the MTC CHECKER indicator to indicate if a stock is a "cow" or not - or how good of a "cow" it is!
Usually, you should be able to "milk" within the first 30 - 60 minutes of the open.
Yes, you can automate this but be careful.
NTRI, SNDK and WYNN are great cows... MOO!!

The Milk The Cow strategy is NOT time frame dependent. It is price driven. The idea is to take a quick profit right at the market open.
Use a 1 minute chart with intrabar order generation if you are going to run automated.
