Hi,
You've found this great forum - looked around a bit and been totally overwhelmed by all that you see. So many names and methods. So many indicators.
Before you give up, here is my guide to understanding and learning from this forum.
The SECRET of SECRETS is hidden in a thread archived from the Babypips site. You will find it on the first page of the Never Lose Again thread..
http://kreslik.com/forums/viewtopic.php ... oose+again
Scroll down to the sixth post - It's by "Shane" and there you will find two files to download. These are the archived posts from Babypips site.
Read those archived posts.
Read the text and look at the charts. When you don't understand, look again. When you still don't understand, keep on reading and looking until you do. It is simple. Don't look too hard. The harder you look the less you will see. Keep it simple. Don't try too hard. Everything is obvious. Just open your mind and look.
Now you have 'seen the light', turn to your own charts and look over them with the new insight you have gained. You don't need any indicators at all. Just look at your charts and see what they are telling you.
By now you should be able to make profit simply and easily, and also understand what is posted on the other threads.
A word of warning.... You will not understand unless you make an effort. You will have to look and read. You will have to look at your own charts and try different things. Everything is not handed to you on a platter. Enough is given to you so you won't stray from the path of discovery. Once you have seen it yourself, then you "own it", and it becomes part of your natural method of trading.

What if after following your "excellent" advice
I would start to thinking, that I've understood and
"could see", but in fact my conclusion will
be far from yours one or from TRO's one?
(and there are no objective criteria to measure the
truth and correctness of such conclusions).
And then I'll be trading what? My belief or my understanding
of what someone was trying to explain in couple of words
or couple of charts without full explanations.
Not going into debates about "trade without indicators"
or "trade what you see", simply know, that these
slogans a like a suiside for novice trader.

Surely the true art of trading is an individual thing. We each search and evolve our own method. We measure our journey on the trading path by the balance in our trading account. Choosing what indicators, mental or painted on the screen, is an individual thing.
I've found the Never Loose Again thread very helpful in adding to my trading ideas. Maybe others won't. It least I can point them to the source and let them make up their own mind.

I agree Mystic. I think those first archived Baby Pips pages are incredibly valuable. After reading them back in August I reread them recently and couldn't believe how much great information TRO packed into those posts....

By themselves, any slogan is suicide for a novice trader.
A trader must understand trading for what it is. No indicator will do that for you.

IT'S NOT WHAT YOU TRADE, IT'S HOW YOU TRADE IT!
