TRO PMSM TREND
Might as well do it "right"...LOL
Since I still use 8.0, I am limited to 4 plots. More than enough!!
TRO PMSM TREND has 4 inputs that you can "trend".
The funny thing about the POOR MAN'S SLOT MACHINE is that it has an advantage over RadarScreen - you can see the history! That makes it SELF TEACHING. You can find the profitable patterns.
Once you get the hang of it, you'll NEVER LOSE AGAIN!!
ELD attached.
By the way, eSignal users, I already coded this earlier this year... check the MOTHERLODES.

LOL... it's not a secret. It is just a different way to display the data. Rather than look at a "squiggly" line, I prefer to look at colors.
Green means the indicator is going up, red means going down and yellow flat.
The TRO PMSM TREND allows the user to input any indicator. In the example, there are 4 EMAs - 5, 10, 20, 40.

This is some kind of secret Indicators or some one can post Formula for it.
So I can make it for MT4
Thx
Hi EvgeniX
I am brand new to this forum and blown away by TRO. Have you been able to convert any of Avery's indicators to MT4? If so are they downloadable?
Thanks
Jeff

Hi TRO,
>It is just a different way to display the data. Rather than look at a >"squiggly" line, I prefer to look at colors.
That is absolutely true for me. I´m working on a TrendFilter, beginng with creating interfaces for the used indications that fits better to "the input channels of my brain" than "squiggly" lines. Therefore your Work is very inspiring.
>The funny thing about the POOR MAN'S SLOT MACHINE is that it has an >advantage over RadarScreen - you can see the history! That makes it SELF >TEACHING. You can find the profitable patterns.
That is definitely true. The "Radar Screen SMs" are great to have all information intuitively at a glance for multiple stocks. But the advantage of "Charting PMSMs" is: you can see the history as a development of patterns.
But there is one nice advantage more of the Radar Screen Cells: You can combine absolute Numbers in Front of colored Backgrounds. I want to have this on my chart to extend this great possibility with history.
i.e. Let´s have a look at the ADX / DMI System, It could be great to reduce this four squiggled lines to one cell: containg the ADX as an absolute value / Numeric in front of a red / green cell displaying which DMI is above. So it could be read at a glance: the trend strength and the trend direction. The color of the number could be changed as well, i.e. when it´s rising / falling or (AND) when its facing thresholds considered to be significant for strong trend / weak trend / range.
It is easy to to that with simple changes of your Your ELDs for Radar Screen. As well it is easy to code some PMSM displaying i.e. the crossovers of the DMI or the relative change in its difference or/and the ADX. BUT I WANT TO HAVE THE ABILITY OF PRINTING COLORED NUMBERS IN FRONT OF COLORED CELLS IN MY CHART, THEREFORE I CAN SEE THE HISTORY.But I could not figure out how to, because EasyLanguage says that it is possible to plot numbers as strings (getting the String with numToStr and setting SetPlotType(1 , ptString)) but this is only working for "the command line" of the chart. It displays well in the radar screen, but I want to have it on my chart for history.
What is remaining is to add something like a Histogramm, but thats curves again, or by addressing the RGB values of Color coding trend strength in colored dots, this is not satisfying me. So I just thought that you might have faced this problem or having a genuine Idea for bringing together the best of SMs using the extended possibilities in radar screen cell design, and PSMS on charts featuring history.
I´d be glad to get a lesson on interface design......
all the best,
peter

K.I.S.S.
TMI - too much information.
The whole idea is to have the computer do the "thinking" so you don't have to.
You enter your entry/exit triggers and the dots tell you to enter/wait/exit.
I wrote the _TRO_SAK so you can have just about ANYTHING displayed in the POOR MAN'S SLOT MACHINE format.
But have colored numbers on top of colored backgrounds it just a little much ( to me ). Perhaps I misunderstand you.
