searching help?

How do I search for a certain author's posts only in one strategy? I must be doing it wrong because all posts come up.. Thanks..

Also, is ther a setting I need to change so that when I log in i always dont have to start from a year ago..

I think this is only way to limit to a specific topic or thread - just sort by topic and then as you browse, they will all be together.

No idea what you mean by "start a year ago" Some forums allow you a cut off date for the posts, but I don't think that can be done here. If so I don't know how.
