Can anyone tell me which indicator provides the bar, server and local times in the upper left corner of TRO's screenshot?

Hi TRO

I'm new to trading and I have spent night after night for more than a month now, usually until about 1 the morning trying to learn as much about trading as possible, as well as all the indicators and the correct application of them (Metatrader 4) in search of the "golden system". I stumbled upon Kreslik.com and your post, Drain the Banks, in the search of an easier way to be profitable in Forex trading. I found it. I can not beleive that your Drain the Banks system is so simple, and above all, it works! I have been more profitable during this last week of September this year than I have been during the month of August! I would like to thank you for sharing your knowledge with all of us on this forum, and to all the members of the "hating" forums that disrespect you and your work, I would advise them to wipe the crusties from their eyes and see that your indicators WORK. Simple.

regards

Ray

Hi Ray, welcome to Kreslik and a brighter future :)
TRO will be the first to say theres no Golden system you don't need any indicators to be successful.
That said, theres a lot of us here looking for just that system, as presented by someone else.
For me the simpler the better, my eyes cross when I see indicators like DTB. Theres so much, I can't follow it, and get lost. So something like whats just above us in the TRO2009_RAT_Plot screen shot is what I am after.

It is a catch 22 for me, and I suspect many. I need an indicator I can follow, so that when I finally understand how it works, I find I don't need it.
I am glad you found something that works, and I wish you the best in the future!

Happy (pip) hunting!

Attached is a highlowalertindicator. Mq-file.
Differs a little from TRO_Rat_History in that it does not matter if the previous candle closed green or red. Got it from another forum.

Let me know what you guys think of this one ....
Will forward test if the alerts, etc. are reliable.

A special shout out to The Rumpledone!

Postby dimplesmile7 » Mon Sep 28, 2009 9:37 pm

I am still a newbie to Forex, but ever since I started to use the indicators from TRO it has been like magic! The indicators work great! He is right, if you follow everything to the letter, you will come out on top each and every time. I have been switching indicators to see which one I like the best and there are so many great ones to consider. Thanks so much for your invaluable efforts in making all of this happen TRO. God Bless!

Dimplesmile7 you newest Fan! :D

Hi and Low Lines of the day indicator

Postby SilverPrince » Tue Sep 29, 2009 9:01 am

For those who need it - I quickly made an indicator that has 2 lines: High and Low.
So when you trade RAT - you can see how close your price is to the Hi and Low of the Day.

By default it uses High and Low of the current day.
You can also use it for the previous day and also change the period to whatever you want.
So it can show Hi and Low for the hour for example as well.
It's my first indicator - so let me know if it needs improvement or you need it to behave a little bit different.

Actually, RAT is quite easy to implement in an Expert Advisor - to make it trade automatically if someone wants to do that.

Enjoy and make ton of money!

Once again, waiting for price to be within 20 pips of the daily low and the "rat reversal" setup to appear pays off.

THE DRAINING CONTINUES...

I think, that adding "pivot" logic to Rat trader
is over-complicating of the simple trading method.

Rat doesn't know anything about the pivots!

TRO, what's your opinion?
If you say no - is it worth adding
whole camarillia pivots, supports, resistance, fibs
and other line logic into rat trader?
