Broker Recommendation?

Postby coolheat320 » Fri Jul 24, 2009 9:06 pm

Hi, I was hoping someone could recommend a Broker for me? I'm looking at scalping the Forex markets, so I need a very low spread. I'm based in the UK.

Thanks for your time :)

MB Trading is the one. 8)
They're ECN. Although they are the counterparty, they don't trade against you (well at least not against me, I use them too).

TRO is an IB to MB Trading.

I highly recommend them. Don't fool yourself because of the commission (as some people do). Spreads are low. These guys are the dogs bollocks

I haven't come across weird things that you hear from others, e.g. communication stops during news (Alpari).

When signing up through TRO as an IB you will get some nice wannahaves :P and I'm not talking about T-shirts but about stuff that can actually earn you money. Unfortunately I can't tell what it is, seriously hush-hush secret stuff under non-disclosure. That's the deal  so I won't answer any PM inquiries about that, sorry [-X

Seriously: I would seriously consider this if I were you. Really.

Good luck with your choice.

Thank you, I was kind of opting towards MB trading after reading all the positive reviews. I will be signing up through TRO when I register. Thanks again :)

IB = Introducing Broker. When signing up at MBT you can fill in a form of some kind. Also send an email to TRO that you've reported him as IB so he can follow things up.

I believe the minimum is 400$ however you better check their website; it's there somewhere.

Posting in this thread instead of creating a new one.

I need a MT4 broker with a very clean feed but the spread isn't important since I plan to trade H1. Must be perfectly compatible with EAs.

Something like ATC but with a lower minimum deposit.

PTG, for MB Trading, do you use MT4 or MBT Navigator for live trading ( I mean order entry)?

Thanks!

I use Navigator for order entry and MT4 for charting.
