Avery, the Asian box is the greyed out area? Are the times correct as it seems late? Looks impressive if it is.

Yes, the gray area is the Asian session.

You have to set the input time based on your broker time.

Figure out what time the Asian session starts based on YOUR CHART TIME, not your local time and use that as an input.

Hi Avery, my server time is EST time (GMT-4) and Asian opens at 5pm so all I do is input 17:00, I think that is correct.

Thanks for the help

Actually, the input is BOX END TIME...

then you tell it how long the box should be.

One other thing I noticed is that you should use M30 or lower... it doesn't work correctly if you use H1.

I didn't write this code.. just modified. Will have to figure out the H1 "problem".

Is this the Asian session range breakout into the London session?

You trade the Asian breakout AFTER London opens.

Does that answer your question?

just a tangent. But was trying to find more info on the Asian Box and did a google search and found some fellow who calls himself frankenpip at BP commenting that his past post on AsianBox had mysteriously been deleted over at BabyPips. So when I tried to find his newer one on same, whatd'ya know -- deleted too (I was using the cache feature on google which will show stuff that is no longer on the original page).

It is almost as if successful strategies are deliberately removed at BP -- or maybe a sponsor is selling the system and and asked or paid for the competing post to be removed?
