Intra Day Binaries under the "watchlists" tab?

If I understand correctly:

1. The binaries are settled at 0 or 100.
2. The strike price has a value of 50.
3. If you buy a call at 38 then your risk is 38 pips with a max reward of 62 pips should the option expire above the strike.
4. If you buy a put at 78 then your max risk is 22 pips with a max reward of 78 pips.
5. You can sell the option back before expiration.
6. Contracts are set at $100 where 1 pip movement = $1

Spreads are different from binaries in that they have a 200 pip range instead of a 100 pip range.

Again this is based on my novice understanding of binaries according to what was written on the Nadex site.

Right, and if you buy, for example, 5 call contracts at 38 then you're risk is 38x5 and you're reward also multiplies, before taking into account fees

I believe also, you only need enough funds in your account to cover your loss. So if you were to do the above you would need a minimum of $190 to buy 5 call options at 38

But have you clicked a contract and there are two columns with different numbers, I've closed the site so I can't remember what else there was but I know it confused me a bit.... anyway I bought an option and it took a while before it got filled. They then sent me an email; I hvnt checked back at the site.

Also MO, nothing comes up when I click the watchlist tabs.. I thought they were there for customization for your own watchlist. I saw no hourly contracts

There are the number of contracts available at the bid & ask price and then the bid/ask price.

It looks like there are only daily and weekly options...

www.anyoption.com has some terms that I do not agree with (can cap your trade size or break contracts as they see fit)

www.eztrader.com has low bet maximums and not a hint of regulation that I can see.

www.betonmarkets.com is regulated in the UK by a gambling commission.
Their intraday double bets function the same as AO and EZ binary option trades, but appear to have a much higher payoff.

If www.nadex.com does not work out then my second choice will most likely be BOM.

betonmarkets does look like a better option, there are more features - you can choose your time intervals too.

I was doing flash double bets the other week on this site on the demo account, after having read the thread on ff (posted the link in last couple of pages).

Boundary bets look alright too. Double double bets also look good, you make 100% if you win. You choose whether price will close either above or below current price (at the time of placing the bet) at the end of the day (or 3-7 days).. seems simple enough right? lol

MO, if you start doing it could you please keep me updated on how you're going with it?

cheers

I most certainly will keep you posted :)

It would sure be humorous if we all switched over to a betting platform.

I guess we would have to change the tag to DRAIN THE CASINO ;)

Interesting,
will have to read that stuff later.

It was nice to get back into action after a week of vacation.

Few trades during london.
All went for huge pips after getting out.

Traded news during NY session....kind of a wash.
A few of those went 50 pips too.
Man.

+15.1 anyway.

It's a start.
Account up 7.99% Oh joy.

well done.

You're trading off the 1min timeframe right? Maybe that's why you're probably getting scared in seeing you're profit diminish if one m1 candle goes against you, only to see that the bigger picture shows that you're safe to hold the trade and get the most out of it.

Have you tried trading the 5min time frame yet (or anything higher)?

@pierre23

I somewhat understand the thinking behind prochargedmopar's action. There are many 5-15 pips trades on M1 (sometimes in a-go) in just a session. Moreover, during the last year alone one H1 bar range 20 pips or more 80% of the time. Also, lower TF leads higher TF and Tick leads TF not the other way around. Other reason is it is safer to trade lower TF because there is no need to hold the position overnight (lowering the exposure risk).

Holding a position using higher TF as a base means losing multiple entries in lower TF IMHO.
The gap between reality and dream is called action.
