mt4 Scalping assitance for slow finger people

Postby jefe » Thu Jun 04, 2009 5:31 pm

Hi,

For those that are still on mt4 platforms... Many brokers don't allow 1 pip TP's (or even 2 or 3 or 4)...

I'm old and sloooow with the mouse clicker..(I do have hot keys set up though ;)

But I have been using this EA with great sucess, plus it keeps me in profits. IF price continues in my direction then the trade remains open and you can close it manually when your greed limit has been met.

I use an EA to set my TP the default is 2.

The way it works: Lets say your scalping with .02 lot size

When price reaches 2 pips it moves the SL to 1 pip and closes .01 or half your trade.

The remaining .01 lot is left to continue (and the SL is now 1 pip so it should never be a loss) at 4 pips the SL is moved to 3 pips.

The remaining lot will continue on until it is closed manually or it hits the SL of +3 pips...

I found this on FF along time ago... But found it very useful... I only modified the input portion of the code for scalp settings...
