Does it matter if you are only filled on half?

Example of how you would enter on a smaller time frame chart:

You guys are profitable, I'm not.
In due time.
Notice I went to 0.20 pips.
I traded the news this morning and was up 38 on one trade but decided to get greedy and had stop hit at -33.
Ok, so I went long again. Saw 45 at one point and then it consolidated.
Waited for the break and took +33ish.
Started the day with two stops being hit at -30.

Traded a few during london too. was in one with 5 entries.
It worked out for +30 pips.
-50 pips for both sessions combined.

Account down to 317 from a high of 1340.
Nice.

EDIT:
BTW, I saw profit on all trades the last 3 sessions except one. I had a chance to close it at -1 and then another chance to close at -5. I let it hit my stop at -15.

That is what pushes me toward being a scalper.
See profit, take it.
I know you have got to be on your game every day though. My losses are because I'm mixing money management strategies. Trading small time frames, looking for big profits, Not closing small losses when the lower timeframes have turned on me. Getting GREEDY when I'm up big thinking I'll hold for the mother load. I'm all mixed up.

Blubb,
Do you have the updated version of the z-line indicator that has inputs to turn wicks on and off?
The version I have looks more like one of the first ones that you made.

I really think the Z-line momentum trading is right up my alley.
Riding one candle is very doable.


Enter on stops/ exit on extremes.
eg. ride wick into body(box analysis for entry)/ snuggle up to body getting to know it(price movement)/ exit on wick(smaller tf move that does not return to the previous high/low). Box analysis for exit.


This would be much better than me entering on open/extreme of candle and getting "wicked/zeroed" out.

Stops would be kept smallish but according to the time frame of the candle I'm entering on. Also TP would be variable and set to 1/2 the size of the double momo bar. (momo increases by 2 and decrease by half) Increased momo would be judged during ride according to price movement and volatility.

It's like scalping that could turn into investing.

I've been a long time lurker of most of these threads...lol.. anyway I have blown up a few live accts in my day.. So I know how it feels-- I 've tried EVERYTHING... when it comes right down to it-- with the exception of maybe two trades-- almost every one of my trades goes into profits... But my problem is (has always been) TP-- always holding out for a few more pips-- only to have close at zero/near zero...

Then I found a silly EA that manages the trade-- and it works for as little as 1 pip!!!
or 5 or ten or whatever-- plus it will close X portion of your trade after X pips. I posted it in it's own thread here http://kreslik.com/forums/viewtopic.php ... highlight= it does have a built in SL (Which I think also doubles as a TS) But I haven't used that part in awhile. First 3 trades were profitable.
Then I broke my rules and took a trade with another trader...........
My assessment was short all the way.....Z-lines involved here.
Went long anyway twice. 2 stops hit so I got back to B/E the way I know how when in a pinch. LOL
4 entries.......

I'll check into that but really need to be a free wheeling trader.

+11.8 on real
+26 on demo and M1 chart.
Was up 34 on 7 straight wins and then the trend changed......lost 8 on the last one. Doh.

When I sat down it was toward the end of the big fall so I was hesitant to hold the shorts for any length.
All "real" trades were Z-lines off one green candled wick formation. I could have rode the body but it had 8 hr. candles short and I could see some resistance up ahead.

Good first day with this method.
