It's one thing to come back to B/E but sitting through the "real" drawdown is the hum dinger.

I'd have exited with 5 pips after griping about being down 12.
Now after "anchoring to my position" even though it is only a demo trade, you can see it takes something more than what I know to make pips.
It Hit the stop at -36. Now, will it go for 100 Long, It's got 36 extra pips under it's belt?

I was, if it was a real account I would have been out long ago. Just trying to let one ride as my trades usually last a few minutes. Not hrs.

Even on FRI at 1:20 pm.
Amazing. I can lose pips so easy. Simply amazing.
I'm really thinking about counter trading myself to make a killing.

Pro,

Some observations about your trade:

1) Are you trading 15 min candles or 4 hour candles?
2) If you are trading 4 hour candles then you took a DTB trade against a breakout candle. Not adviseable.
3) If you are trading 15 min candles then you failed to exit a trade in profit once it reached a new high (a 1 semaphore). It did this not only once, but twice (and failed to reach a new high the second time). You were fairly warned.

Some advice:

A) You need to trade the timeframe you entered on. I.e. 15 min entry = 15 min exit.
B) Do you have a consistent trading plan that you have tested over a statistically relevant period (i.e. 30-60 trades)?

No, this was my first "dtb"ish type trade.
A few pages back Razorboy was giving me Ideas about his new "system" of trading that pulls in right around 100 pips per trade.

I'm just playing around with this and trying to slow things down a bit.
I could see what was happening on the 15m level too but decided to hang in and see what happened.

The first and 2nd 1's are part of his "setup" to see if it was going to make a new lower low or not. Then take the trade the other way. Yes, I should have exited with profit when it made a lower high on the 3rd #1 semafor.

Thinking about it for a min. I see that It would be best to wait for the H4 to turn green and then take the first #1 or #2 semafor that was reversing from the "main" 3 that was showing at the time.

Looks to be a good strategy if one can wait.

I see their is one dude that had 9 or 10 trades this month and made over 1000 pips using the DTB #3 only setup. He said he would wait sometimes for 3-4 hrs on the reversal.

It's in the DTB rev. 6 or 7 thread.
