I'm not watching it except to verify after the fact. M1 shows all. LOL

My ideal candle is constructed:
open equals <== close
high
low
close equals ==> open

This setup would make the M1- charts easier to read.

The way that candlestick charts are constructed is broken, that's all I'm saying:
there is no reason why there should be a gap in price without a market halt.

Hmmmmm, Dave uses No gap candles. I don't like the looks.

Of course there can be gaps. If price moves 1 tick as the next candle starts to form you get at least a 1 tick gap.

. . . I'm saying that there is no reason to construct a chart where gaps can exist.

Plot it CHLO, where 'C' is the previous "close" and 'O' is the first tick of a new period; using only open prices and the HL to construct a chart.

I don't give that young man enough credit :lol:

S/R always forms around the closing prices:

you only need the bounds of the candle body to represent the open or the close, not both.
