Didn't swap one of those platinum bars for a can of baked beans I take it? :)
I learnt through the earthquakes a few years ago that cash is king and a big barrel of water in the back yard is gold. And you do your shopping the day before the natural disaster helps too. Petrol stations had no power and only took cash.
Hope your place is still intact :)

Hope you're well. No generator?

The platinum is for when nobody will accept cash =)

I'm definitely going to start stacking baked beans and water now.

You must not have any kids living with you. I stay stocked up on stuff, living in the Houston area, you kinda have to. We had a bad tornado pass by in the beginning of the year, I’ve never experienced anything like that. Way worse than a hurricane.

Still remember eating MREs back when Ike hit. I honestly liked them.

Do you not think that your 12yo daughter can do the same thing? she can, she can though

Have you tried compressing the chart a little? It helps to see the “ins” better + it eliminates the feeling of price being too high or too low since price is in the middle versus the edges of the chart.

Here are two pictures, one is squished and the other isn’t.

I have always kept them in AUTO.
This way it is easy to see volatility throughout the day as it changes.

The 30 half ounce silver coins that I ordered arrived in the mail today, and boy are they pretty. . .

It's a shame that I'm going to be handing them off to the kids.

I own gold chains and rings, this is my first time buying silver.

A fractional position is like a pufferfish; you make yourself really large so as to not get eaten, and then you shrink to size when you are out of danger.

Some people just see: small size, more movement, same risk, less profit, but this is a very short-sighted way to look at it; not losing your bank is step #1 of making money, you can't just skip to step #2 and think that everything is going to turn out ok.

Hello; are you referring to trading higher timeframes or something else? I was literally thinking about this just now.. larger timeframe, smaller size over larger space and longer waiting times. Not in a negative sense, more in terms of "ok, that's how it is, so how do you adapt to that?"

I'm still thinking about what you said a while back .. "price has moved hundreds of pips so why haven't you made hundreds of pips?"
