Are you asking me if I pointed him to topstep. We discussed it. I tried to convince him to get the $150k accounts and trade 3x size on them. To each their own.

How about 1 of the biggest F. U. to the U.S. government.

I read about a guy that used his Roth IRA to avoid paying millions in taxes.
https://www.forbes.com/sites/sarahhanse ... 26089f2627

Did you know you can put $6,500 or $7,000 a year into a Roth IRA?
Did you also know you don't pay taxes on any gains in that account?

Did you know you can trade Stocks, Options on Stocks, and even Futures in that account?

Put $6,500 in and your account balance is $13,000 after year 1.
Put $6,500 in and your account balance is $39,000 after year 2.
Put $6,500 in and your account balance is $91,000 after year 3.
Put $6,500 in and your account balance is $195,000 after year 4.
Put $6,500 in and your account balance is $403,000 after year 5.
Put $6,500 in and your account balance is $819,000 after year 6.
Put $6,500 in and your account balance is $1,651,000 after year 7.

Depending on how many years you have until you reach 59.5 years old so you can withdraw, you can make a nice trading egg.

Those calculations were based on 100% gain per year.
At 50% per year, you are talking about $300k+
If you have 10 years until you are 59.5 years old like me then that is $1.1 million.

Even at $300k and 50% a year you will "retire" with $150,000 a year tax free.

An article that explains it.

NQ right now 13 ticks avg. per 1 minute candle
YM right now 4 ticks avg. per 1 minute candle

I am fairly sure that is why I switched to NQ from YM in the past. YM still offers some good ticks, but tick for tick NQ rocks.
1 NQ contract has the same value as 1 YM contract on a tick to tick basis.

I was thinking about when I heard ICT say, Your BIAS is heading to the draw of liquidity, or something like that.

So today I marked up liquidity areas and followed price around. It was very interesting and relaxing. Scalping always has me in a ready state. Watching the charts marking up liquidity then watching how price reacts was relaxing.
