I took a scalp.
The labels are before I took the trade.

I took another scalp. I'm done for now.
Hopefully these charts help, or someone tells me I'm doing it wrong.
Markings were before the trade.

I can see the confusion. The green line labeled Protected high was the Protected High when I took my trade. In the pic after the close below the low side green line the new Protected high is the green line under the Protected high because it is the highest high before the close below.
If that's the rule, i missed it and it makes sense and it structures things.
Can you explain why this choice (green line) Alias? :

The 4 following charts i understand and agree with.

OK, so I think this is the sequence of events.
Don't worry about the green lines to the right in the next few posts. I forgot to delete them before making the pic.

And last one.
Highest High > Lower Low > Lower High > Close below Low > Validates previous Lower High as Protected High
And then you continue on.... I think

Re: Aliassmith Beats a "Dead Horse"
Here is a way to play
The bias based on the protected high > Short
Pull back into the upper 50% of the range > Short
20 SMA short > Short
Fair Value Gap > Trigger Short
Zline is at the top of the FVG. > Trigger Short
