Could you explain a bit what the general idea in your trading is? I see that you're using an m1 chart with h1 overlays. I'm using M1 but with h8 overlays for bias with the MA bands from Don's BONZ thread.

Maybe there's something I can learn to see if I can incorporate something to have bigger R since most of your trades look like that  . My results are slowly moving back to a BE-ish~ state, so the only way forward is to either have better trade selection and-or understand how to let them run for more R.

What I'm trying to do is also based on Don's teachings and in the mean time I'm trying to grasp what IgazI is explaining.
The hourly overlay mostly defines my bias and I treat the hour as a fixed block/session. Within that hour I search for the patterns that price prints; tops, bottoms, v-shapes, breakouts etc. and ideally around the open of the hour so I can base my trade on the horizontal open level but also snatch as much pips of the hourly potential as possible.
I like to use the line chart but also look at the candles. Sometimes price runs and if it does I am happy to hold as long as I can. It's all about recognizing these repeating patterns

Good for you that your trading is improving!

Yesterday was a bit of a bummer because after taking some hits in the beginning, at the end of the day I was at be.
Now this morning definitely was different!
When I opened my trade the idea was price might want to mitigate these FVG's it created yesterday on the hourly.
Took a bit off at X5 for my first trade and opened a short the next hour because if this was today's top, it would have been a real nice entry.
Well it wasn't the top and I got killed real fast.
Reversed and opened another long but unfortunately I closed that one way too early but still got about X3.
Next hour, new trade, took X4 and decided to also close my first trade at X38 because the FVG's were mitigated.

I'm happy. 8)

It just keeps giving.
An additional 28 pips.
Think I'll stop here.

Ha, ha....Guess he would have been right today.
Actually I don't regret closing this trade. I did regret closing my 3th trade of the day because there was no reason to close it.
Now...I did capture 3 hours of sunshine and ....that's gold in my country

I agree.

That's one of the many reasons why I don't day trade

PS: on a chart that you do not trade, try using a 3-period overlay:
you have the chart that you are trading, the M1, and you have the closed M3 candles as your summary of the price action.

I'm having some posting issues last 2 weeks. When I try to post something it automatically logs me out. Annoying

If you were Pro and posted 10 times a day that would be even more annoying :)
