Your PC needs more computing power.

Just re-read my last post.. Needs clarifying.
The original Custom Candle indi would cause a lag in my MT4 every few minutes. It would just freeze for 5 to 10 seconds and resume.. It did this on both my PC and laptop.

My main trading PC:
Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2666MHz 32GB
Intel Core i5-10400 Processor
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1650 Windforce

I don't think any of my machines lack computing power  . It is more likely that MT4 needs re-installing, especially if no one else has the same issue. But since it now working ok with the indi that I found, I'll leave it as it is for now.

It's the same thing with my old laptop. I used the same template for several charts and it bogged down the platform. But after I deleted several charts, it works just fine.

Anyway, using any indi is not a problem as long as you can achieve the same thing.

Cheers!

Took a few trades today.. 7 to be exact. Most were losers. 5 losses and 2 winners.
The 2 winners covered the losses and gave some on top.

All 7 trades were long attempts with the static and dynamic bias being long.

Continuing from my bands comparison post from long ago...

How many things can be done using BB?

A lot.

The power of this indi is of course, the bands.

That's good. I'm going the SLE1R way to keep it simple with 1:1 trades, but how do you decide to hold for more? Looks like a good way to turn things around if correctly applied. Ya'll are seasoned traders and I suck so simple explanations are welcome if possible lol  .

Hahaha.. I aint no seasoned trader. If I was to put myself in a box then I would say BE demo trader
Still finding my way.. and truth be told, since I have come across Kreslik, things are looking better.

How do I or in the posted trades, how did I decide to stay in longer.. I'm not sure I have a simple answer. I guess price was continuously moving in my favour, I had a stop in place which I gradually moved up. When I saw price stall or make a sharp move up, I took profit.

The more seasoned traders can give better answers.. You are deffo in the right place.. Guys like Don, Igazi, Alias and TRO, among others are Gold mines.

Take the trades, post your charts and ask questions. Good luck !

Well, these are mine :P. Still marking the 2r and 3r even though I'm targetting 1R.

2 Losses, 3 wins, 1 breakeven+1.

Some notes:
1)Until the last trade, I was slightly below breakeven due to commissions and such.
2) The breakeven one missed TP by less than a pip.
3) It kinda wiggled around the H8 open but still worked on some level.
4) I'm entering at candle close when it closes over the ma 'band' and agrees with the H8 bias. This is clear in the first, 5th and 6th trade. In the 2nd, 3rd and 4th I think I waited a bit because I didn't want to take it too close to the open.
5) Taking subsequent trades is something that I'm not sure about when going in the same direction. A good example is 5 and 6, which oddly work fine, I just waited for some kind of pullback and when it closed over the MA I entered again. But if I were to take the next long I don't know how it would've looked.

Haha... good! VERY GOOD!

Do you know why you can't explain it to others? Because it has become your WIL. This is why it's hard, super hard to explain WIL properly. Because it's already a part of you as a trader.

At least now you will understand why expanding your WIL is all the more important because as it expands, you will act instinctively in regards to how you think, place trades and manage them. Learn everything, be more diligent with your screentime and your profit is guaranteed.

Congrats to you! Very good!

Now I can sleep well :)

To StylusK. I'll try to explain tomorrow or when I feel better. I've been sick the whole day.

I keep a bottle of Gum Spirits of Turpentine in the back of the fridge, I'll usually take a few drops with cold water;
a teaspoon if I'm really ill; I'll have some mini donuts on hand as it helps wake me up if the turp starts making me feel groggy.

Of course I am not a medical professional and this is not advice
