I was having some problems trading the last 2 weeks.
Somehow I wasn't in snyc with the market and was doing stupid things over and over again.
Analyzed the situation and I guess I am trying too much at the same time making my trading confused.
It made me loose 2R before London open; the grey vertical line...
Back to my basics...deadhorse today.
1st trade came back at me, took my SL and rallied back up.
There are a coupe of things I learned from this trade. The most important one; my SL was too tight...I should use wider SL and settle with less R. Right now I am trying to replicate the SL placement of the demi-gods over here and that's just not for god-like applicants.
2nd trade...well, I was so sure it would go up....it didn't and I got out at b.e. after wasting x3.
3th, after that pinbar it was good to take 4R so I was about be.
Took some more in the afternoon where the last trade is a perfect example of an inside bar trade.
IB right at the sma; this is as good as it gets and it delivered....

Re: The story of Yirbu
Guess there's one more.
This is a bit what Pro showed us today.
Sort of double dip...
I took the IB after that, closed at x4

I am looking at the picture and looking at it over an over again but am not sure what to see...
Between the green is the pattern
3, 2, 1 in red is leading to the pattern
the last two bars are the expansion trading above the pattern.
Is that correct?
So you would be looking for a trade either when price leaves the pattern or...anticipate to a breakout at the top and enter at the bottom, the red support lines??? Am I interpreting it right?
Sometimes when I draw the boxes you draw, in the end all closing prices end up in my box and I don't see the pattern anymore

- when price is above ranges it is moving up.
- when price is below ranges it is moving dn.
- when price is between ranges it is moving sideways.
What is up? what is dn? what is in? what is ot?
If it is complicated then make it simple.
if it can be made simpler then do so.
Let complexity arise out of simplicity; if you start with complexity then things can only devolve.
A 'pattern' is just another name for a take profit, and a 'take profit' is just another name for an entry. . .
"up, dn, in, ot: ask the right questions and get the right answers"
then they ask me again, "how do I trade" . . .
"up, dn, in, ot: ask the right questions and get the right answers"
what is there to not understand? why ask a different question than these?
What is a TP? when do people TP? when would you TP?
- it moved out of something, did it not?
- there was a large separation between a previous close and a current close, was there not?
make it simple! you have the answers, you just need to ask the questions!

Re: The story of Yirbu
Last week we had a nice week tucked away in a cabin in the woods Germany.
Still managed to do some trades between lengthy walks in the woods.
As I expected minimal time to trade I switched to using the hourly which was new to me. Turned out just fine.

Re: The story of Yirbu
Three trades today.
One be trade and 2 profit trades.
As I am trying to get more with less time I was lucky today.
Unfortunately not completely lucky because my position on the us30 was only 25% of what it had to be...
For the GJ trade the daily ADR was the target and for the US30 yesterday's low (red dotted line) was the target.
Just now I see I should have added at that FTR range.

Re: The story of Yirbu
Early bird...
Took a while but 42 pips and 32 pips before London open is nice. Entry of trade 1 was a bit risky but it worked.
Now I don't need to f** it up while the rest of the day unfolds...

Re: The story of Yirbu
Did one more. Went short but price bounced at the daily open which was also yesterdays low. Got out at be but when price took out the highs of that little consolidation I jumped in again and was able to ride it all the way down. Closed it just at the daily ADR when I saw it bounced.
As it's my lucky day, I'm reversing some and see what happens

Took a while but I finally realize mt4 for Android is updated. It looks a bit different and they have moved the buttons so I keep pressing the wrong buttons. ...
