The core questions that must be asked are:

Direction (market bias). Where is it from, where is it going to?
Distance (possibility). How far did it travel, how far will it go?
Speed (power). How fast did it get here, how fast will it get there?

From these 3 questions, you'll get tons of insight and a whole library of books.

Decided to do some scalping for several minutes.

All sell hit TP. 1R. Kick it into high gear.
This is the SW scalping method that I just mentioned.
Maybe I should do posts like this for every method I mentioned in this thread?
Nah. Too lazy to do that
Take whatever you like from this thread but only if it "makes sense to you" :)

Up to you :) Depends, if you only have 20 strategies then that might be achievable within the bounds of laziness, but 100 patterns.. that will never happen. :)
Appreciate the ideas you have posted here.

That's a clever trade.
I definitely need to learn to differentiate between scalps and trades that go to the moon....most of the time when I take a trade like that I expect too much of it and eventually I have a b.e. trade or worse.

Maybe this can help for those who want to speed up their Anchor trade training.

Remember this:
1. The idea of anchor trade is to get in at the wick part of a candle. Since we are using a session as our "candle" you must adjust your view point accordingly.
2. When the market turn, it's always a fractal. The market might offer you a direct A or V reversal or M/W, or H&S/IH&S. Pick your gun. A lot more traders are responding to the latter because it's just too ridiculous to miss such a market structure. M and W is kinda tricky but still much better than the former (A/V). The former is the riskiest option of the 3 and only those who are very aggressive can handle the pain threshold.
3. Loss can happen while pursuing an anchor trade. There are also times when you don't see any loss during the day on top of a successful anchor trade. But in case you have a losing trade, you need to have a scalping technique on the side to take back what is lost (and more).
4. If you need anything else, go to the link in my signature below. I update the list there when I deem a post is worth reading. I think I updated it yesterday and I'm gonna update it again today.

It's Friday and I only have 1 more week to trade and then wait until 2nd week of Jan, 2023.

Treat a Session as a candle
Thats a top statement/concept, will keep that in mind, cheers.

Found a good indicator to quicken horizontals and rectangles. Can be customized too. Saw this thing on a guy's vid and just gotta have it lolz

It placed a drawing panel at the top left (customizable) and you'll have clickable 5 rectangles and 4 horizontal. Kinda of a must-have for visual traders.

Been a crazy week. Wifey's grandma's funeral, wifey's dad sick, me getting (a little bit) sick again...ugh.
The only thing that put a smile on my face was when I pick up daughter's rapport card yesterday.

Teacher: She's been a good student during this semester.
Daughter: (took the rapport card and showed it to me with a smug lookin' face)
Me: Ok, straight A again. Good job.
Daughter: Remember the deal?
Me: What deal?
Daughter: The one you said at the beginning of the semester.

A lesson that I always forget, kids do remember things

Now, for the "ProchargedMopar-style" post...

Been a while since I last posted anchor trade so this one's it.

In at the daily candle's wick, ride it all the way down (and more).
Guess I don't really need to show you guys the how anymore coz I posted enough material on this subject. Just to re-enforce that the method works, I just don't post it enough lolz

With rich uncle's $4M backing, $400k in a day is very much possible or at least $100k. Especially if you gear it. Gosh, what will you do with all that money, Alias? 8)

Weekend training resume. The trading year is concluded for me though that one trade is still on. So I guess I have time to learn.
