SW. A trading method and the buttons to go along with it.

Yeah I was going to ask about your 50 button EA :) One for each pattern and type of trade you want to do by looks.

Yes. Originally started learning mt4 to make bots to trade but only to find out that things can change in a split second between the close of the current candle to the new one. I'm SL size conscious that's why. Plus, handling and coding all the possibilities and variations in the market is too cumbersome. So I figured the best way to overcome this is by doing it manually. Hell, even military drones are piloted by humans hiding safely somewhere

A trading Algo is a very deep rabbit hole to explore. If you are looking for a never-ending hobby and less hair you will love it. I have found Algos are good for warnings and execution tasks.

Program the Algo to find certain market conditions and alerts you.

Program the Algo to improve execution in some way.

Even big boy algos are monitored by people and altered based on conditions.

This trading method is based on the adage take care of the sideways trend and the profit will automatically pile up or something to that effect. The most difficult condition in the market is when the market is going sideways. So why not focus on handling this problem and if possible, use it in other market conditions? Thus, the 1R cap.

How are you deciding where the lines are drawn? I can see some appear to be drawn after an engulfing candle while others are after large-ish wicks. Is this the general idea?

If I put additional hint, what kind (of S/D) do you see? Do they have to be S/D though?

Yes, it's amazing how the eyes can recognize patterns in what appears to be chaos.

Now that I'm done for the day, let's get on to TRO's stuff (correct me if I'm wrong though). Now it's time to revisit the Amazing Sweetspot.

50 pips apart.
Draw line 2.5 pips above and below the actual level.
100's are also good though.

Round numbers are always relevant!

If it breaks, it breaks. If it holds, good. How many ways can this thing be traded? The difference between a maestro and the others is imagination.
