This method leans more toward the balance between hit rate and R gains. Bigger dynamic SL of course.

Hi Don, looks like this thread is not popular anymore as all the free porn threads that just appeared are pushing it down bloody hackers.
Do you have a few more tips on how this pattern works as I'm not grasping this one?

Sorry took a while to reply. The threads and links just put me off. If they are good at hacking then go hack big bank's website or Pentagon at least upon succeeding they might offer a job there. Kreslik is not a place to prove a hacker's ability smh

So this chart is a mix of PC's IB (my style) and my own scalping stuff.

As for PC's IB original style, you can find the thread over at forexfactory. I think the thread is called DIBS blah blah something. Now for the other stuff, I haven't explained them yet. The original TP method for that chart (the boxes) is from OV. You can find this stuff in his YT vid. However, the TP on the chart is, of course, my style of it.

Unfortunately, no. He talked about a strategy, I was talking about his TP method. Also, he's not talking about anything that resembles my scalping stuff (though he had good methods that can be used for scalping). I don't think I've seen my stuff posted anywhere on the net coz I only post my good stuff in here A couple of years back I paid someone to make an indicator to trade this scalping tactic but then I shelved it only to revisit it several days ago. The irony is, now that I can code I no longer need an indicator to trade using that style anymore lolz

That could be dangerous lolz that said, I always get myself busy during the weekend either learning something or improving or revisiting old stuff. Otherwise, I feel like I'm going insane. So rabbit holes? Why not? It's fun

I hear you. Now that I have settled down on a couple of strategies and am focusing on those , I have more time on my hands, so what do I do, keep learning lol.

I never learnt MT4 coding but know C# so if I do start making some stuff I will do it in C Trader I reckon.

This trading method is based on the adage take care of the sideways trend and the profit will automatically pile up or something to that effect. The most difficult condition in the market is when the market is going sideways. So why not focus on handling this problem and if possible, use it in other market conditions? Thus, the 1R cap.

Currently practicing Pine Script. I don't wanna be that obsolete guy when MT4 is finally taken down sometime in the (near?) future.

Yes. Originally started learning mt4 to make bots to trade but only to find out that things can change in a split second between the close of the current candle to the new one. I'm SL size conscious that's why. Plus, handling and coding all the possibilities and variations in the market is too cumbersome. So I figured the best way to overcome this is by doing it manually. Hell, even military drones are piloted by humans hiding safely somewhere
