Hi Alias, on your higher time frame such as 5m, 15m or 1hr are you doing similar S&D markup to identify points of interest or do you have some other sort of point of interest?

Compare other timeframe S@D with current for confluence.

I marked out a target on the higher 15m, played this yesterday while I was on the 5m. Put stop behind a pointy place.
The entry I got wrong majorly but it still went down to the blue line so got through this one by the skin of my teeth. Not the best R/R but considering I am coming from a 2 pip scalping negative R habit then an improvement.

Yes EURUSD has $$$$$$
I could make about $50,000 on those 3 trades.
When I was trading US30 and risked $2000 a trade it was harder because the SL could be anywhere from 10 points to 70 points.
At $100 a point I would need 500 points on US30 to make the same amount of money.

I am not saying US30 has less to offer than EURUSD.
I am saying it has less for me.

At some point when I don't trade prop firms I am working on a plan.

1. put $250,000 in FOREX.com and trade EURUSD at about 1 pip (spread + comm.) 1:50 leverage
or
2. put enough into a Futures account to trade 20ish ES contracts.
or
3. trade stock or options

I almost feel asleep on my keyboard because kreslik is so slow.

Now this is heavens better than those former 1R and sub R trades.

This is why Tom said mastering technical analysis is easy but it's much, much harder to build one's mental fortitude. You saw the move but weren't able to harness the potential but now you've managed to nail it.

Welcome to the big R club! Next progression is the monstrous R level, high-efficiency trader.

That's a big a$$ SL.
Next step is to tune your SL. You already have scalper's mentality so it's pretty easy to switch gear.

That's quite cool how the top line was touched pretty much to the pip.
It looks like I need to zoom out more to get that bigger picture, cheers.

On one of your other pics where you have the entry and stop, between them you have multiple lines, is that some scaling out in steps if price moves against you across each line?

Those are 33, 50, 66 lines that I was messing around with. Nothing special at the moment.

Wow this site is a bear recently. It probably needs a cache cleanup or restart.

Yup, is MIchael K still around or is it running itself these days?
