One singular concept.
If they can't break those highs buyers are in trouble.
Blue line on 2nd chart is 'something' from HTF.

Individual candle reading. Great stuff!
So do you think NAS and Dave's stuff are derivative of zline and other stuff from MO's or maybe connected in some ways?

NO,
Yes, it's all the same thing.
Dave learned the basics watching two videos, one from Pips of Persia and one from some other Smart money guy that he has in the top of his master class playlist.
THEN, he's a special dude. His skills just don't "happen". I don't care that he did study for 16hrs a day watching price.
You don't just randomly (in 3.5 months) all of a sudden start banking full tilt. And saying stuff like "if you have one loss in a 30 day period you need to go back and watch the videos, get a deeper understanding up price". blah blah.

He use to dog out ICT, talked smack about him but lately after analysing some of his trades and level calls on twitter, He said " I gotta give ICT his flowers, Dudes legit"

Dave is a noob, he is still learning daily. And that is INSANE.
He can only release to the general public the things he has totally and completely assimilated into his being.
The most recent is "that candle" or "their candle".
And it's powerful.

I've always been able to SEE what others have shown since day one.
But, the applying part has been sketch city. (self doubt, low self esteem, fear of loss, fear of being wrong, belief in lack, whatever and who knows)

According to Dave once our analysis is 99.9% accurate applying is EASY.
Psychotherapy is for the betterment of us as a human being, so that we can help others, be an asset to others,
NOT for trading.

I skimmed through his vid using fast forward button to check his chart US30 chart on Sept. 30 live stream and he's teaching good stuff. Nothing new honestly, but as you said he is still pretty new so I'm sure he will grow even more.

In the meantime, if I were to trade the same chart using the latest scalp it would look like this. 67 scalp trades. If we only take 50 of them @1R it would be 50R, with 2R it would be 100R. Scalping only. 1 type of scalping method only.

comparative analysis.png

Because these are scalp trades, the chance to use risk gearing (as per Alias' method) is very high and very lucrative.

I have to say his vid is much better than ICT coz Dave doesn't ramble and I like the choice of music when he stream :)

I can see that directional 'bias' is not in your trading vocabulary. LOL
Looks like my trading 10+ yrs ago.
If I would use a stop I'd have been super profitable at it too.
After all these years of learning I think I'm leaning towards that very thing as MY model. hahahahaah

Maybe it looks like yours, but not at all, Pro :)

There is a bias behind those trades but there are also other things that dictate them that are in my WIL. Knowing what the bias is will help determine the direction of the pending order. You can see that some of the trades in my chart already put a pending order to the opposite side a couple or even several candles before the turn happened. This can't be done without a strong grasp of the market bias.

My recent push toward the extreme scalp trade is because of Alias' idea of getting more certainty as quick as possible to allow more parlay (or as Alias said, risk gearing). It is pushed more toward using very small risks and using parlay as means to get a gigantic result. Especially good for use with those prop firms.

Every parlay cycle (3 successive profitable trades) equals 7 regular profitable scalp trades. In the case of a 2R scalp, every cycle is equal to 26 regular profitable scalp trades. So the math is very simple, risk 0.1% and get out with 2.6% at the end of the parlay cycle. Of course, if you get more than 100x leverage then it would be even more profitable. Even using a shorter cycle like 2 successive profitable trade is already giving a good result like 3R instead of 2R in the case of 1R scalp or 8R instead of just 4R in the case of 2R scalp trades. However, the more initial risk you use the less scalp trade you can take in the case of 2R scalp trade because the trades will take longer to complete in comparison to the 1R scalp trade. Prop firms love consistent traders that uses the lowest risk but get big result. They might even put you in their Platinum list of traders lolz but seriously, there is a group like that in prop firms but I forgot what they call it.

The good thing with scalping is obviously we have the freedom to sit and be done with the result already known in a very short time. In the case of non-scalping, the analysis might take 10 seconds and then we place the trade but then we step away from the laptop or close it while waiting for the result whether it's gonna be SL or TP. There are also times when we have to do something in the midst of trading be it an emergency or something else that is also urgent. Sometimes these things take long to do and we might miss a good swing entry. With scalping, the opportunity to get the next trade is much greater.

I guess I need to start learning then. When it comes to crypto, I don't know much coz they sprout like crazy these couple of years and wither just as fast.

Quick lesson:

Jack has $100,000 of paper that is going to be worth the price of paper.

Jack has the option to trade that paper for a liquid store of value.

What does jack buy?

Metals, agriculture, crypto (utility / commodity).

What does Jack not buy/hold? fiat, bonds, stocks in minor companies.

that's a good short term solution

I do have several 25 pound bags of rice, meat, etc.

PS: this is the perfect time to buy rice as you can leave it outside in the winter, to kill critters, and then vacuum pack it (it will be good for about 25 years)
