I've been sick since the 2nd, it's been a rough thousand years. . .but I'm back in action now.

The only thing that I did this week is add 0.25444109 BTC to my wallet as price moved away from 23K.

I have this rule that I must add size if I choose to wait instead of exiting.

I'm maxed out for now though, I need something exceptionally positive before adding more size.

Of course it could all just blow up in my face I don't have to be right, I only have to accept the result.

Alright, so this is what happened

I bought all 3 dips into the first arrow confident that price would re enter the pattern and break out the other side. . .which it did.

The second arrow was clearly the exit, as the trade was not working at that point, but I slept like a baby and ended up exiting at the third arrow.


On another note,

I really like the charts on CashApp and I managed to emulate them with a 5 period MA on a 10 minute chart; the 'detailed view', I think, is just a 1 MA.

I'm still waiting to feel inspired to attempt another long.

What I would like to discuss today is the 'distance from average' indicator:

attached is a picture of the 12 period DFA signaling ahead of the 'real move' when it reaches the defined bounds;

it seems to be more accurate than simply waiting for price to cross an average. . .

thoughts?

Thanks. That looks handy indeed. I prefer to be able to work away from a PC, I lose my edge when I am behind my PC, especially in terms of flow.

You talked me into it I ended up buying (today) the Supernote A6x with the Heart of Metal pen:

I like that they are working on an infinite whiteboard and support for Markdown. . .

I wasn't as impressed with Remarkable.

How do you find it so far ? I have gone off the Remarkable too. Will wait until I am back in my home country before I order the Supernote (I risk potentially not receiving it in time with the shipping delays)
