Placed an order at the orange line, but I did not get stopped in.

So just enter manually. If you were sure enough of the direction to place an order, why miss out just because your arbitrary line is missed by a point, or whatever?

Scalping is nothing to do with pre-placing orders, it's flying by the seat of your pants, or as the guys say here, when I get going, "Lem's swinging that axe again...!"

Yes, that seems the way to go. I remember u saying something similar elsewhere.

The first entry as a bit too soon, so entered as soon as it started moving against me.
Second entry was the better one.

Price should be below the SMA, or are FVG entries different. I have no idea. Up until a month ago, I'd never heard the FVG term, lol.

Hmm. Interesting, you might be right. I'm just double checking it, see if I can find mention of it somewhere.
I interpreted the FVG (and zline) entries were fine as long as the slope was down (for shorts) regardless if price is above it or not?

I hadn't heard of FVG before either, I had always used the term WRB to throw another term in the mix.

Only joking. It comes across very helpful, and if it didn't ( things always can come across differently over a screen) I know we all mean well in here.. Also..I prefect direct feedback (u can get the man out of The Netherlands but u can't get The Netherlands out of the man lol)

Yeah, I get where you're coming from, especially re the Z-Line entry. I need to remember that I also use the Kijun-sen to layer with the SMA, which helps with these kind of confirmations.

There was a theoretical entry at the orange line, but I skipped it as it was near the bottom of the current move and hitting an area of interest from the run up left.

You can't make this stuff up can you? It goes from one untouched area to the next.

I don't see any untouched areas above, there is one below though. Not saying that I will now, but just thinking ahead (once I get comfortable getting 5 pips) that you could aim for larger runs by targeting these areas.

The chart story has changed a bit now. A short near the orange line would be warranted now. We have broken below the little range and below the area of interest on the left.
