This one was pretty nice.

You saw the charts I was putting up, this kind of move is nothing out of the ordinary on EA and there was plenty of opportunity to stack.

The only issue - if you can be a big enough ass to call it that - is that on the 15 min chart, the initial entry moves often happened at stupid o'clock, UK time.

Is stupid o'clock UK time about the same time as good US time?

You might just get away with it. Say 02:00 UK, that would be 21:00 EST

It usually means I'd set-and-forget once I got my entry and wake up to whatever. If it was a strong enough move, you'd still have enough opportunities to get something in the bag.

If you traded GBPUSD today on the M5 you probably needed a larger SL.
It usually has an ATR around 5 pips and today it was over 10 pips.
I'm probably post some analysis charts later after dinner with the family.
I have GBPUSD almost marked up.
I'll markup EURUSD M5 and
EURAUD H1 (there is a lot of cash in that chart)

GBPUSD M5
I marked the trades I think made sense for most of London session.
Some of them I marked what type of trade they are.
All of them had opportunity for profit, it depends on the individual if they took it or held until SL

Overall, the market was moving nice, and you needed a bigger SL because of volatility unless you are a mini-SL King

I just noticed that there was a Zline at the bottom of the first move down. It would have been a for sure loss.

It was an interesting day. The very first traded could have been an "anchor trade" like Don_xyz talks about.
You could have also stacked to maxed leverage this nice trendy move short and made double digit returns.

EURUSD M5
Nice moves today, the SL needed a little more space.
There were a few full stops but plenty of money pips maybe 65 pips

EURAUD H1
I don't have a plan or the patience to watch the H1 chart.
If you did have a plan to watch it, then it can pay off well.

10 to 16 pip stop losses.

If I win a decent scalp on the M5 charts I would consider putting a scalping size on the H1 chart
Nice 30 to 100 pips move at your larger size.

Say you scalp the M5 with 10 lots and you make some nice trades.
You now have "Market Donated Capital" to put a 10 lot on the H1 trade.

If you pick to choose the big SL then normal trade would do justice. This is how normal people do it.
If you pick the smaller SL then you should use bigger R and this trade would give 360% on a 2% per pip sizing. This is how freaks do it. Some freaks would 10-fold (1000%) their account from this particularly extraordinary market move because short trade allows it. Hint, the margin gets cheaper as the price falls.

Might be my only chart post this weekend.
Then again maybe I'll get a break in my schedule.

EURUSD M5 making nice moves.

About 20 pips to grab I'm done
