Bad habits are soooooooooo ingrained and hard to break because they are the easy way to go.

Making a decision to WAIT for something, and not enter on emotion is all it takes.
Without a decision, nothing would ever help me, or anyone else for that matter.

Do you have a trade entry checklist pro?

Here's my old simplified one plastered on my cork board in front of my screens:

You use momo and zlines to substitute for my BO and BI.

No emotions involved in your decisions.

I also had problems waiting but I realized if I wanted to make the time I spent in front of the screens worthwhile, I had to follow my checklists like a robot.

Recording your wins and losses, and reviewing them, completes the circle.

Both above steps will change into productive trading habits for sure.

No.

Momo, Gaps, and ZL's.

Unless I'm picking a top/bottom.
Then it's HTF level/gap/ZL + hammer or bar break.

Can also drop to m1/30s/15s at level and trade like 'NORMAL'.

Let me insert something here:

It took me a long time to turn my focus to HTF charts AND actually act upon what they are showing us.
The reward will be great.

After Bowl "party" chart review.

AJ Buy, Sell, Sell.
EU Sell.

First, thanks for responding. He posted a small screenshot of the bottom corner of the video. I was checking out that series on Youtube but can't figure out which one specifically that he was referencing. What I have seen of the series is good, and when someone identifies a segment of ICT where he explains stuff in 10 minutes, then I want to check it out. I usually fall asleep (literally) when watching his stuff because he goes off on so many tangents (LOL) --- as I imagine you already know.

If I may ask, what do you think is most valuable in his videos? I know that you are a seasoned trader and I have interacted briefly with you in the past. Your threads have helped me a lot. I trade Doji Rock's method primarily, but your threads have always been really clear. So, I do value your perspective.

Pretty sure it was from a Mentorship vid. 1.5hrs of diatribing....but that 10 min span said it all, pretty crazy.
I'm on a ski trip but also visited a couple family members on our way here so been out of pocket for a while.

PRO. WTF!!! Did you become a scalping god, in the past year. Are you seriously placing these trades in real time? I mean your literally going from short to long, back to short. Whats a h1 line? Is every 2 lines a 1 to 1 risk to reward, based on stop level? Been reading your thread and dont want to bother you with a bunch of questions that have already been asked. Seriuosly. Congrats and *censored - swear word* respect man.

is this why traders are always talking about Islands? :)
Or is it just a figment?

#aj4.JPG

Time to start asking master trader pro some questions. When you say island. Is it just a rectangle side movement. Kinda like a ledge and spike by Linda B. Is there anything you look for that needs to be. How do you look to trade it.

Examples. The purple one I would like if that price action hadnt come out of the box. And i loved how it closed under/over the previous low and then wicked it again before moving up. Nice liquidty spike. Blue one looks pretty good. Red one might be stretching it. Lay it on me Pro. Show me the way
