You can trade the 6E, 125k EUR, for a DT margin of $500, each tick = 0.5 pips = $6.25
or
you can trade 125k EURUSD for ~$3000 margin, each tick = 0.1 pips = $1.25;

Now I wouldn't trade either, but one seems like a much better deal:

I understand what you are saying but I never really had an issue with how much size/leverage I can use. 20x per $100k is $2 million in size. Thats about 5pips equals 1% which is plenty for me.

I see earning an extra $5 per contract on a tick of profit as another reason to trade the Futures contract.

I cant say I have looked at the 6E but it doesn't seem like an apple to apple comparison. If we look at them on a pip by pip basis they are equivalent. We would also need to factor in ATR or similar metrics to get an apple to apple.

My 10 ticks equals your 2 ticks but if they both move 5 pips they are similar.

The conversation is fun but when I trade futures its not 6E.
Crude, Dow, S&P are higher on the list. The end of 2020 I traded a lot of DOW.

Been a while...again. Enjoying camping out in others' yards for a while.

However, just lately, I have been asked by a number of friends here and there, if I would be willing to (re) visit the longer time-frames again, using the techniques seen here. That's fair enough, as I kinda' let things fizzle out along those lines and tbh, it is something I have been looking at out the corner of my eye recently. Maybe combining some newer stuff as well to add some spice. Or maybe not, we'll see. :lol:

Watch this space...again... :P

Hell of a Z-Line on Gold. Extends back a fair distance as well. Just sitting there, begging, lol.

Too powerful a move for now...went double-down on it instead. Not to say price won't revisit later on - we'll see.
