Though I do admit to having bailed on the first turnaround and getting back in again, slightly red-faced, before letting it run till the red candle closed below the ma.

This is about as close to any kind of non-scalping trading as I get these days - and it's doing just fine, thanks :P

Today's trot around the paddock.

After the last time where I got bucked off too early and then got back on again, today I jumped off in stages and managed to eke out a good return overall, without getting involved in all that messy stuff later on.

Elsewhere, there was this...less a trot, than a stumbling wander around in a dark room without a flashlight.

Got in at first thing am UK time - got out an hour or so ago, just before midnight.

Horses for courses indeed...

Haven’t started trading this entry yet, but I’m always looking for new ways to trade so that I can teach my kids when they get older. My entry has some subjectivity built in to it that has been honed through 15+ years of slaving over charts. I’m not sure they will be able to ‘get it’ unless they put in the screen time and love it as much as I do.

This method is simple and very effective....I see your entries pop out at me on basically every chart I glance at.
TBH, it made me reflect on my trading and think whether I was unnecessarily making my entries complicated to make them more ‘meaningful’.
Haha, sorry for the long reply, but anyway just wanted to say thank-you for sharing (and I’ll post some charts as well)

There are some nuances to it. You can look for simple market structure to add confluence. Support becomes resistance and/or price rejecting the 20 ma. Fib retrace numbers, Ross hooks etc. Oh ya and zlines.

Sorry, didn’t make myself clear.....I feel my OWN method of trading is too complicated...... but the method you shared is great because of its simplicity.
