So you made about 120 ticks on the dow mini?

I honestly don't know. I'm using a UK Spread-Betting platform to place the trades and they work in points/cash total.

Either way it was a decent move on the M1 chart

You guys don't have to pay taxes on that spread betting income?

Well...yeah...but it's not really so simple. Technically if it is your sole income, then they could levy tax, however, as it is classed as betting, then just like with horse racing, they figure that over the course of things, we will all end up worse off.

Because of that, they figure that what they lose out on by not chasing the winners, they make up for by not having to deal with claims from the losers who would end up with rebates claimed on losses as tax write offs.

Something like that :P

Out-and-about all day, caught up on mail when I got back, on to check charts to see everything I had missed out on...

Turns out I hadn't missed it all after all.

Had to ride this particular Dead Horse all morning. What a grind...

(Australian Broker, so time-shifted by a couple of hours on the chart scale).

I kept it going, as it had all the signs of a Supply Take-Out and sure enough that's what we got...eventually!

I messed up the screen grab earlier and had to nab this one to replace it and by then, you can see that it was a good call to get out at Target x1.

It's retraced almost 50% now. Fine by me.

The entry on that play. A twitch late but near enough.

Note how I had to move the SL from the initial placement. I moved it according to the higher time frame pointy place. Just as well, of course.

I had waited for the NASDAQ set-up tonight but the US30 showed up to the party first, so I got on there.

However, it faffed around going nowhere fast...

...and me, being me, I stacked into a pullback and cashed out early.
