Well, it was always on the cards. Price has now flipped to the upside on our short-listed UJ and sits comfortably above the major 23.6 level now.

Disappointing as it had looked good but as I mentioned, it was at the end of a long run, so that was against us.

However, we will keep it on our watch list anyway, as now we are in a position to get in really early on a long move should it forge on up.

For now, time to go check the others available.

OK...so let's flip our attention for now to the Russ2K, as it is looking really hot-to-trot.

I will stick with this one, as it is one of my all time favourites for HTF work, as it trends so beautifully. Smooth as silk.

We are looking to get in long.

I could make a decent call to go in now, in fact - however, I am tempered by the fact that the US is still closed and so I will probably wait until the US market opens, so we don't get our feet taken away from under us by any zombie plague related surprises.

Even if it were to shoot off, we will still be able to jump on board the inevitable first pull back. This is way early in the play.

One thing I have just made note of, is that we now have price broken, held and sitting above the major 23.6 level. Good sign.

Tempting as it is (very) to go in - and I certainly would if I was looking to scalp, this is all about the big picture and as I don't want to be sitting babysitting the early move, I will make note of the fact that price is still inside the Thunder Cloud on the H4 chart and back off for now.

This is sooooooooo against my nature!

Couldn't resist taking an early dip using a fib-overlay to map the way.

4 x in. Used a different broker to keep the other charts clean.

Just tracking what's going on this morning and will post again in a bit. However one thing occurred to me as I looked at how price is setting up in our favour on the Russ2K.

That is, I just realised how happy I was to scalp in the indecisive movements between the higher time frame change of directions. I do an awful lot more work in that white water zone than I realised and now see why I find it so frustrating having to wait for the HTF plays to set up properly.

I have usually been and gone multiple times before it even makes up its mind and so I have this not-so-quiet voice screaming in my mind's ear that I am missing out!

So, yes, I will keep the charts of the H4 and up clean and clear here - but I will come clean and show my black-ops work in the lead up as well, if I go in on any.
