The Monster was in a giving mood from the UK Open and I ran the morning with:

+9 +3.5 +6 +0.5 +2.5 +5.5 +3.5

Total: +30.5

I would post charts of the trades in running but I really don't feel it's fair to double-post but I did want to say that, no, I haven't given up and moved to Alaska.

What I will be looking to do, is pick up the tail of the thread and get back to finding some longer tf plays. They've been happening, honest! :P

The cold numbers for the day.

DAX: 9 trades for +62

US30: 2 for +9.2

I'll include a chart or two to keep it interesting and as it's relevant to our style here, two off The DAX showed the power of Z-Lines on any time frame...

Enjoying running the US30 at the end of the UK session lately.

It is so much more...err, civilised than The Monster is in the morning.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not leaving The Monster's bed but I think I'll be visiting my bit-on-the-side more often.

Two earlier, I think I already mentioned - but that was just a pick-up game. The latter session was a full kitted game.

5 trades for +41.

Now you know why I like it :P

I’ll follow the journey and I can even follow live charts too at those hours.
If they will ever release a “mini DAX” too I would trade it too [-o<

The Monster was in a very dangerous mood this morning. Sucker-moves were the play of choice, mostly trying to suck the unwary short - while in reality the overall pressure was to the upside.

By really keeping an eye on the surrounding landscape, going in very heavy to maximise every point and with finger poised over the kill-switch at all times, I managed to come out ok.

DAX - all run on the 1-min Chart.

+10 +8.5 +6.5 +0.5 +6 +2.5

For a total of +34.

It's Friday, so that may well be me for the day.

We'll see.

What I do know, is that it's time for breakfast-and-a-brew :D

The Monster is still off its meds this afternoon and is in very bitey mood, so I haven't gone near it since the earlier burst of activity.

As it's Friday, I'd normally call it a day there anyway but I wanted to have a look at the US30. However as I am doing stuff away from the screens at the same time, I keep missing what opportunities there have been. It's not been great so far this afternoon, actually. The market seems a bit stirred up. So left that alone for now as well.

I had the GA chart open (can't even remember why) and hey ho, as these things often do, a set up fell into my lap.

Took a triple-dip short on a pullback off of strong momo and the afternoon paid for itself.
