So now I have locked in a goodly chunk and will wait and see what comes next.

Exit signals are a twist in the cloud on the H4 or a candle colour change or if I d*** well feel like it using any one of my usual trade management methods.

A twist on the lower time frames can be used as add-in levels (if it then un-twists) and go a long way towards giving you a heads-up as to where we will go next.

For now, we hurry up and wait...

I wear many hats. One of which is a Script Doctor and I specialise in rewriting dialogue.

If you like, ''...for now, hurry up and wait.'', you'll love ''C'mon, get aff!''

I'll leave you to guess where that comes from and when it would be used :P

Been looking at The DAX (surprise, surprise) as we head through noon-time uk.

We have been in a good, strong, upwards move for a while now but seems we are reaching an interesting level.

DAX Daily

Dropping to the H4, you can see there's a bit of a conflict going on. The current bar looks strong but the previous...not so much.

H4

Now down on the 15-min, we've got a colour change going on, so we have a possible entry setting up.

5-min drills down farther.

However, we are seeing little reaction from either cloud yet.

Then down at the razor's edge, this is what we get.

Here we can see that price has crossed through the Lightning Cloud, into the Thunder as well as the Lightning Cloud itself having dropped inside.

What now? Well, normally as I said, this would be a place to look for an entry / re-entry, however I will temper that enthusiasm a little because of that H4 level. This Daily move has been going on for quite some time now and if this was down on the small time frames in scalping-land, then I would be thinking that this move was way too far gone along to offer a solid addition.

I may of course have looked at playing it tight and nipping a smaller bite out of it - something I do actually do quite a lot - and so, there i no reason to not threat this Daily / H4 move in the same way. I simply will look at keeping a close eye on it and take as much as I can out of it, while not expecting it to go on for very long.

All of that is assuming it does actually bounce, of course. It could just as easily continue on all the way through and morph into a Short move.

We just have to suck it and see.

It's all good.

I had - sometimes still have - a relationship with a Canadian producer, so I work via her circle and am paid a good amount not to have my name credited and out of view of the Writers' Guild.

Last one I did was for a Californian director and with a writer from Texas who was trying to write dialogue for a character from Glasgow, with scenes set in Scotland. She seemed to have the impression that everyone in Scotland was still using the language of the Clearances, lol...och aye, the noo, bonny lad!

Speaking if which...C'mon, get aff! Lol. Literally, Come on, get off.

You know what a bus conductor is / was? The person who takes the tickets on a bus. Very much if its time and not seen now but back in the day, they would stand at the back of the bus at the open door and if someone was being slow at getting off at their stop, they would shout "c'mon, get off!"

Hurry up old chap if you would be so kind as to depart from this public passenger transportation vehicle...

It's a brutal business but just made sense to me as someone who hates a 9 to 5 grind and will seek out ways to make a living that depends on me and me alone.

So long as your ego will allow you to not be bothered about not seeing your name in lights, then there is a good living to be made once you get an "in". Do the job and you'll get used again and again.

Bear in mind that nobody wants any writer near a project once he hands the script in anyway and you get the picture of your place on the totem pole.

Writing for live TV is even more brutal than movies, lol. Not for me, you're welcome to it.

I have a single script adaptation to thank for helping get me my starting bank - it was optioned twice and never made - as that cash plus what I had made as a Fund Monkey was enough to bankroll me immediately at a pro level. I am forever grateful for that.
