I'm done - for day and week.

It's all good.

I hear you bud, hard to stay on a wave without sharks trying to bite your leg off. Good times.

The one loss was actually a big fat mistake - should never have been taken. I was trying to hold a semi-cohesive conversation with my significant other who had just turned up and took my eye off the ball. Really need to keep that door locked...ho hum...

Well I had an ugly one today. I had a trade on that I overlooked and it went against me 38 pips. Never leave your daytrade unsupervised or forget about them. I only crawled back to a -3 pips on the day.

It's always an easy thing to do - we're all just one distraction away from total disaster.

Thats is why we are always grateful for what we make. Thanks to you and Alias that point has been driving home to me recently.

Well then...

A series of trades, the trading equivalent of smacking yourself in the face with a hammer many times, then just once more on the off chance that this one won't hurt as much.

Once the red mist had cleared, it ended up -2.3 in pip value, though green in cash dollars.

DAX T-60 Chart

-2.3 (I truly can't be ars** listing them all!)

Previous to all this drama, I had a carefully measured triple-dipper pre US KO.

DAX T-60 Chart

+0.5 +1.04 +3 [+4.54]

These had a small pip value but a high cash dollar value.

So, anyhoo...I did take a large step back, waited for another set up and in the end, it all went my way as the day crawled to an end.

DAX Swapped to the T-90 Chart

+1 +1.79 +2.5 +3.74 +0.47 +1.05 [+10.55]

After the dust had settled:

Totals across the day: -2.3 +4.54 +10.55

All-In: +12.79

Please don't ask how these trades tie in with the clouds - they don't. The cat-fight was just mental free-wheeling and the follow up was pa + Fib only.

The first three trades are the only ones that actually used the Thunder & Lightning.

It certainly was crazy but mostly because I was trading like a moron.

If I am running the method properly, then the entries come from rejection candle pa (ie pins / piercing candles) and the clouds give directional bias.

The use of the double cloud shows directional change and range-bound conditions earlier.
