It wasn't that great a set up overall, to be honest. Not perfect by any means and as a result, I didn't get any of the bigger bags, it just wouldn't break - and as I write this, an hour later, it still hasn't.

If anything, it now looks like it's on the turn.

Ah well, if it does, it'll do it without me. Time for some chill.

Have a good one, all.

The one loss was actually a big fat mistake - should never have been taken. I was trying to hold a semi-cohesive conversation with my significant other who had just turned up and took my eye off the ball. Really need to keep that door locked...ho hum...

Well I had an ugly one today. I had a trade on that I overlooked and it went against me 38 pips. Never leave your daytrade unsupervised or forget about them. I only crawled back to a -3 pips on the day.

Friday's are never my favourite day to trade, however today I dipped my toe.

London's bedlam was always likely to make things, shall we say...interesting. As if The DAX ever needed any excuse :P

My initial play was tentative, as pre-KO and with price in between the Thunder & Lightning Clouds, I triggered a 1/3 sized short. Nope...Down around -4.

I still felt that we were going to get the short play, however, so once we got the bell, I got in again, full-sized this time on the first and heavy-jumbo on the add-in. Those added just under +3 and just over +4 in pip value (cash-dollar amount was larger).

The final one of those trades should have come in at around +10 but it simply moved too fast, so hey ho, there ya go.

DAX T-60 Chart -4.52 +2.78 +4.24

Total +2.5

Sat on my hands for a bit while the initial thrashing around tired itself out, then got back in again.

Three more entries.

The weather was still cloudy but I was happy to give the pa more weight and so went in full-size.

Very dangerous waves out there today - hope everyone who ventured out for a swim got themselves back to shore safe and sound.

I'm done - for day and week.

It's all good.

Kl kl, nice way to end the week.

I was talking specifically about The DAX thrashing around, no idea what else was going on elsewhere.
