You sure you didn’t fall a sleep with your head on the keyboard and mouse in hand? Just saying..could happen.

If you don’t mind, What are basing your decisions on besides the Indis on the chart? Thanks.

A nice start - and actually that will be it for me today for a while, as I have other life ''stuff'' to do, moving furniture from point ''a'' to point''b''...lovely...

THAT. IS. AWESOME.

Did someone teach you to scalp or is it just from years of watching the markets. Also on average and you can be super general on this, how long would you say your trades last and how far would you be willing to let a trade move against you. Thanks.

No, no one really taught me as such. As you know, I originally trained as a long tf method trader, so that was the only real training I got - and even it was pretty cursory.

I am an autodidact, in fact I live my life as an autodidactic polymath - knowledge is power - so I figured it out for myself.

The length of time in a trade can be anywhere from a second or two to maybe a minute on average. Having said that, I have never worked it out, so that could be complete bo******. It's pretty quick :P

However (and this kind of goes with the next part of your question) my entries and exits are still determined by the signals I see on the charts, Z-Lines, fibs, rejection candles etc, so if none of the exit signals are triggered, then I will stay in.

I have a hard Dead-Man's-Stop but that varies and is mentally set and if I think a move against me is simply a ''sucker-move'', then I will be willing to hold it...maybe. However, it will still be a set percentage of acc in cash value. I can also run a counter for part of that (for scalping like this, the counters are run on a separate broker/computer).

This is basically HFT but executed in the human space-time-continuum - in essence I am looking to replicate the algos' methods as a human robot.

The markets, being fractal in nature, let us use all the same entries and exits and management techniques for extreme scalping at the razor's edge as we would use on the weekly charts, just so, so, soooooooooo much faster.

This is what I hinted at previously when I mentioned how you could run trades across ''micro-ranges''.

It's all the same, just different :D

The one loss was actually a big fat mistake - should never have been taken. I was trying to hold a semi-cohesive conversation with my significant other who had just turned up and took my eye off the ball. Really need to keep that door locked...ho hum...
