This is RAT on a large scale, yeah? Or am I reading it wrong. Possibly it is run off every candle that doesn't close higher than an extreme, not just the immediate one?

I think the two are related. MO might have developed his "space" idea based on TRO RAT and plugged it into his price (candle) action.

"Space" , pip cushion, and opm are all forms of MM. MO was figuring out how to increase staying power and profitability without increasing risk.

Welcome, aliassmith! I'm almost 2/3 through MO's posts and he is of a very high opinion of you. Can you explain the latest understanding of MM by him or you, for that matter?

I can't actually do that. There were several version and variations. My suggestion would be to focus on one of his methods because they all have something to take away from them. "Space" was easier to implement on long term charts.

That's fine. Let me give "space" a go. If I got his "risk space" right, one basically decides how much one is willing to lose in pips, then creates a "box" where hight is the distance in pips for losing, and then moves it around once one is ready to double one's position. Anywhere close?

Next thing I am trying to figure out where MO places a box on the next move. For instance, here I see that the bottom of the box was placed at the low of daily candle.

But then, the position of the box in the second position is puzzling. It's top and bottom hardly align with any OHLC. Any ideas?

Understanding of "space" is important because on it rests understanding of more advanced concept of "doubling". At the end of 2015, MO gives "A good start" explaining how and when to "double". There are a few posts.

As space is built the box grows so it won't line up with an extreme. Eventually the space is big enough it can be reduced or increase lot size.

I think I got this concept as well. When the "space" doubles, it is time to double the position.

That picture continues to puzzle me. The size of the second box in line is approximately the same as the first and any other box on the picture. The third box is also aligned with the Low of a candle. The fourth, with the High of another candle. Boxes #2 and #5 discombobulate me. Hope someone can explain further or I'll figure it out eventually.
