Thanks for the annotation. I sure had it backwards!

Actually a RAT, HOLO, 1-2-3 and/or WICK ZONE.

If it is in the daily ATR ZONE, that would be a bonus!

Z-Lines aren't always RAT, HOLO, 1-2-3 and / or Wick Zone, because the levels ('A' on that chart) don't HAVE to be new highs or lows on the day but just have to be a distinct level-of-interest.

They could just as easily be in the middle of the day's range.

I understand. I just like having the extra "odds enhancers".

Thanks.

Something I have been doing profitably:

I noticed price usually retraces the bigger bars sometime in the near future and I wait and trade accordingly.

"Identify the most recent momo bar and trade TOWARD its open from an extreme."

The orange lines highlight bars 5 pips or bigger.

I guess I still don't get "ZLines".

I will give it a try Tro,

Sema's, I know your familiar with those.
When Sema Candle is the High, look at that candles Low. If that candle and the one before it is not a CC(colorchange) then wait till next candle.
After you have a set Sema and a CC(colorchange) mark the low.
At the minimum, no trades until a candle Closes below that Low.
That Candle that closes below that low, I call a MC (MotherCandle).
Drawing a line from the low, through the MC(MotherCandle)body gives you the zline. (Ideal Entrypoint)
I dont call the MC(MotherCandle), momentum due to my definition of momentum is any close above or below the previous Candles high or low.
A MC(MotherCandle) may be a momentum, but a lot of momentum candles by my definition are not MC's, hence why I use two terms.

ps, i just drew it up on Bretts pic instead of starting from scratch

Thanks Doji... I actually understand that. Now, I guess I will have to code an indicator... has anyone already coded one?!

I was being a stubborn sod and trying to make the market do what I wanted it to do. Funnily enough, it refused and by the time I bailed, I was sitting negative.

Then that push happened and I thought, ''Hey, that would be a good example to illustrate TRO's RET-Trade!'' DOH!

So instead of illustrating it, I traded it. :P
